Suraya Raja is an award-winning writer-director and a BAFTA Connect Member. Her love of storytelling led her to the National Film & Television School, where her graduation film won 15 awards and was selected for over 100 international festivals (including 6 BAFTA and 4 Oscar accredited).
Suraya is currently writing and developing new work for children’s TV series’. She draws on her background in mental health and psychology to create character-driven stories with authenticity and humour.

Merve Cirisoglu is an award-winning animation director, producer, and educator whose work has been screened at over 355 international film festivals and received more than 65 awards worldwide. Recognised by the United Nations as a top filmmaker and having shared her creative path on the TEDx stage, she blends her backgrounds in Education (BEd) and Animation (MA) to create meaningful, story-driven projects that inspire and educate young audiences.

Merve Cirisoglu

Merve Cirisoglu is an award-winning animation director, producer, and educator whose work has been screened at over 355 international film festivals and received more than 65 awards worldwide. Recognised by the United Nations as a top filmmaker and having shared her creative path on the TEDx stage, she blends her backgrounds in Education (BEd) and Animation (MA) to create meaningful, story-driven projects that inspire and educate young audiences.


Fahim is an award winning creative with over a decade of experience in the creative industries. He specialises in developing stylised animations for notable clients such as BBC, CBeebies, Channel 5, NorthOne TV and UNDP. His body of work spans across tv series, documentaries, social media, short films and children’s books.
His last animated short ‘Falafel Sundays’ travelled the global festival circuit, picking up numerous awards. Most recently he worked on the CBeebies series Nikhil & Jay as an animator. He currently plies his trade at BBC as part of the Bitesize team on projects involving iconic shows such as Shaun the Sheep and Blue Peter.

Fahim Arif

Fahim is an award winning creative with over a decade of experience in the creative industries. He recently created the 2D animated short film A Cancer Story, a personal project exploring his own cancer diagnosis. The film aims to raise awareness and provide reassurance to others on similar journeys, and was recognised at film festivals, winning the Best Documentary Short award at the Manchester Health Film Festival.
