Seyi Odusanya
Seyi has spent many years in the creative industries writing children’s television such as JoJo & Gran Gran, Peppa Pig, Mr Bean the Animated Series, Toad and Friends, Odo, My Friend Misty, and Odo.
Seyi enjoys stories and storytelling, writing characters and valuing writing as an art form and a vital method of communication and self-expression. Seyi has been teaching creative writing with Inkhead for the past year to share what he's learned about writing. Seyi has also tutored for essay writing and writing.
Seyi is a University of the Arts London Screenwriting graduate who continues to work on scripting children’s television.

Nicole Davis
Nicole is of Caribbean heritage and grew up on a council estate in Reading. At 19yrs old, she jumped at the opportunity of getting out of the shire and ran to London as fast as she could to study Acting. Fast forward 30 years later, she's back in Reading, she has a 11yr old neuro-divergent son who is an inspiration.
She has been script writing professionally for 12yrs. In this time She has been fortunate enough to write for amazing series such as; Get well Soon, Topsy and Tim, Daisy and Ollie, Odo, 123 Number Squad, Pop Paper City, Millie and Lou, Circle Square and Happy Town. She is currently on the writing team for Numberblocks series 8 and PlayTime Towers. Her passion is writing comedy and diverse and inclusive scripts for young people.

Alison Ray
Alison is a Children’s Television Writer with a wealth of experience spanning over 30 years. Having started her career in Production as a Writer before becoming a Producer/Director for Nickelodeon, Disney, CiTV and the BBC, one of her favourite parts of the production process was developing the storytelling and the script-writing process.
Alison returned to writing full time 15 years ago and has Script Editor and Writer credits on many CBeebies series including Bitz and Bob, JoJo and Gran Gran, Biggleton, Love Monster, Stan Can and Alphablocks. She wrote several episodes on Milkshake’s Pip and Posy and The Woohoos and has written two series on Sky Kids and for Digital Platforms Youtube, Amazon Audible, Tate Kids and more.
She spent the last yeat writing 23 episodes of Peppa Pig Tales and is always keen for the next adventure.

Chitra Soundar
Chitra Soundar is an award-winning author of over 60 books for children. She creates content for TV, stage and audio for young audiences. She is currently developing shows based on her books and original projects! She'd love the opportunity to write live-action, animation and audio shows aimed at children of all ages.
She is the creator and an EP of Nikhil & Jay, a preschool sitcom for CBeebies with King Banana TV and Paper Owl Films. Winner of Best Script for an Animated Series - Irish Animation Awards 2025 for Nikhil & Jay. She has written audio and TV shows for young children.

Suraya Raja
Suraya Raja is an award-winning writer-director and a BAFTA Connect Member. Her love of storytelling led her to the National Film & Television School, where her graduation film won 15 awards and was selected for over 100 international festivals (including 6 BAFTA and 4 Oscar accredited).
Suraya is currently writing and developing new work for children’s TV series’. She draws on her background in mental health and psychology to create character-driven stories with authenticity and humour.

Charise Sowells
Charise is an award-winning storyteller with decades of experience in theater, film, TV, and more. She has written for shows such as Vida the Vet, Wonder Pets: In the City, CoComelon, and Blippi. Companies like Disney have contracted her as a Creative Consultant through her multimedia company, Unabashed Productions. In addition to scriptwriting, Charise is a producer, director, Grammy voter, ASCAP songwriter, and recording artist. She also writes children’s books and is an alum of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts and Orange County School of Arts where she graduated with honors.

Jessie Francis
Jessie brings six years of experience in story development and creative coordination across film, TV, animation, and theatre. Her collaborations have included projects with Nexus Studios, Punchdrunk, Blink Industries, Secret Cinema, Channel 4 and more
Jessie’s portfolio of work is always centred around social politics and magical realism - with a healthy dose of dark British humour to help the medicine go down easy.
Passionate about character-driven storytelling and profiling underrepresented voices, Jessie has script read for for multiple festivals including Female Voices Rock and Raindance, and she regularly volunteers to script edit for self-funded short films.

Tito Olawole
Tito Olawole is an award-winning Nigerian-British animator and recently completed an artist residency at Filmværksted Viborg. Her short film Black Girl Joy won the RTS Southern Craft Award (2021), and her first anime-inspired series was selected for co-development with the BBC through the Ignite Scheme. A graduate of Bournemouth University with a BA (Hons) in Computer Animation Arts (2019), Tito has worked as a 2D animator, CG generalist, and character designer. She is passionate about creating Black female heroes in anime, aspiring to develop and direct ethnically diverse shows that embody authentic, culturally rich stories.

NEERAJA RAJ
Neeraja Raj is an Indian-origin London-based film director, writer and animator working in film and media, with an innate desire to tell authentic and emotionally captivating stories.
Her acclaimed 2020 animation film 'Meow or Never' was shortlisted for the 'BAFTA Awards', won the 'Young Director Award', and the International 'Women in Animation' Best Film Award. Her films have officially been featured in Oscar®-Qualifying festivals like SXSW, Tribeca, Cleveland, Austin, Chicago, Sitges and more.
Recognized as one of Variety's Top 10 Animators to Watch (2022) and a Forbes 30 Under 30 - Entertainment honoree (2023), Neeraja has also previously worked at Aardman Animations and Disney. She holds an MA in Directing Animation from the NFTS, UK (2020) and a Bachelor of Design from NID, India (2017).
